Evenflo ExerSaucer, the original activity center

I see that everybody speaks about exersaucers, but did you know that the original name is Evenflo ExerSaucer? The name is actually branded, I think I have already posted about this before. Evenflo, the company, produced a toy that they named ExerSaucer and as with each product entering a market as the first of it's kind, seems that it has given the name to the product category. So Evenflo ExerSaucer became exersaucer no matter who is the producer, if it is Evenflo or other similar companies.

This also happened with other companies, like Xerox, Adidas, etc. At least here, it is quite an established thing.

So, next time you speak about baby exersaucers, please keep in mind that the original one was Evenflo ExerSaucer. OK?
