Indeed, Evenflo ExerSaucer is a trademark while "exersaucer" the word is widely used. This is one of those funny situations when the name of the trademarked product becomes the generic name for the category of products.
When Evenflo ExerSaucer was launched, everybody started to call this stationary activity center "exersaucer" even if it is a name, a trademark, more than a category. Now it became one.

When I first found about Evenflo ExerSaucer I was even a bit confuse since I knew the word exersaucer but I had no idea it was a brand. So I started to look around a bit, to read on the internet about exersaucers and about Evenflo and about Evenflo baby products. I also suggest you do the same on Evenflo website because you will find beside the company history and information, a lot of baby products that are useful for a long time while your baby develops.You will see Evenflo has products for children from birth to the pre-school years, including a myriad of products such as car seats, strollers, high chairs, play yards and activity products, among others.
